Tattooing Pos/Neg Relationships

I always try to give my tattoos as much clarity as I can by being mindful of my positive/negative relationships, which help the shading make sense to the eye, but when doing black and grey work, without the benefit of color contrast, shading is even more crucial in separating the design’s shapes.
