Greetings from Hyperspace!

There's been all kinds of excitement since our last newsletter went out a week ago. The big news is that Episode 4 of Tattoo Wars has been aired and the response has been incredible. It seems that having a good educational TV show about the art of tattooing (as opposed to the drama and lifestyle the other tattoo reality shows focus on) has a strong place in our culture. If you missed the exciting episode, which features Guy Aitchison competing against biomech icon Aaron Cain, you can catch it on youTube. If you like what you see, be sure to contact TLC and let them know you want to see the show run again, and to see more of this kind of programming. They are keen to know what shows get the strongest reaction from the public, so don't be shy!

Meanwhile, the January 2008 issue of Tattoo Magazine is available now, and features a great article about the Tattoo Wars competition at the Hell City convention in Phoenix, AZ last August. The issue made it to the newstands just in time, which is helpful considering the extremely sparse promotion that TLC gave the show. Spreading awareness about Tattoo Wars has been a grassroots community effort, and a month into airing, the show is building up a strong group of viewers. Be sure not to miss Thursday's episode, featuring realism aces Deano Cook and Tom Renshaw. It will be airing at 8:00PM on Thursday Nov. 8, then re-running at 1:00AM. That translates to 7:00/midnight Central time, and 5:00/10:00PM Pacific time. Don't miss it-- and be sure to give TLC your opinion.

Then, coming up the weekend of November 9- 11 is the Old School Tattoo Expo in St. Louis, MO. Although we won't have a booth there this year, Guy will be giving a free talk and presentation at 2:00PM on Saturday, open to the public. Unlike past seminars he has given, which were intensive technical seminars for tattoo artists only, this presentation will be about Guy's art and the history of his involvement in the tattoo field. If you are a fan of Guy's art or simply curious about what makes his creative engines tick, be sure to drop by and check it out.

Due to a crowded schedule over the past few months, Guy and Michele haven't had much opportunity to update their galleries. Finally, some of the new stuff is posted: Guy has 27 new images in his New Tattoos gallery, and 4 new images in the Collaborative gallery. Michele's lastest work will be posted soon and will be announced in our next newsletter. In the meantime, you can check out her latest music video on youTube. More music from Sunchannel, her solo music project, will be posted soon as well.

Finally, be sure to drop by our friend Aaron Cain's new website. He's not had any major new upgrades to his online galleries in many years, so don't miss this treasure trove of mind blowing new imagery.

Thanks, and we will be in touch soon!
