Happy Holidays from Hyperspace!

Winter is upon us, and here at Hyperspace Studios we've cranked up the thermostat and focused on finishing a few long-running projects. The layout for the Scratch Art book is in its final stages, and will be going off to the printer in the next week or so. Guy is still working steadily on his next big educational book, and both he and Michele have been completing more large tattoo projects.

In addition to all this, Guy and Michele recently completed a collaborative "tattooed violin" for a fundraising project for the Durham Symphony. This instrument is a classic violin made in 1913, and was decorated by them in a way that will not affect its sound resonance, making it both attractive and functional. It is presently up for auction on eBay, and will be available until the auction closes on Sat. Dec. 8th at 10:30am PST. If you or anyone you know is a tattoo fan who plays the violin, this is a perfect item for you!

This month, Michele has a stunning 16 page insert of her paintings, photography and tattoo work in Flash magazine. Flash has been including these inserts in every issue lately, each one featuring the work of a different groundbreaking artist and the work they do in various media. This month's edition features many of Michele's most recent pieces in all her chosen art forms. For fans of Michele's work, it is not to be missed. Look for the January 2008 issue, which features Michele's friend and client Mindy on the cover.

With Christmas only weeks away, there's still time to order gifts for your friends and loved ones from the Hyperspace Studios online store. Shipping is guaranteed in time for Christmas on any orders received by midnight of Tuesday, Dec. 18th. Our online catalogue includes all kinds of fun gift ideas including clothing, art prints, fine art and educational books, along with smaller accessories such as postcard sets and nightlights. In addition, we have some new items posted this week: the limited edition Hellbomb shirts. Taken from vintage Guy Aitchison designs from the early 1990's, these classic images were reprinted in a limited edition, and are available now.

We are also offering a new combination package for tattoo artists only, featuring Guy's powerhouse educational volume Reinventing The Tattoo along with Health Educator's informative DVD Standards of Practice: Infection Control For The Modification Industry. The new package deal offers both items for $155, a savings of $20. These two items are indispensable for both apprentices and experienced artists. Keep your holiday simple and shop online!

Thanks, and we'll be in touch--
